I wanted to share a few of the gifts that I received from some of my favorite people this Christmas. They are gifts that keep on giving. And ones that make me realize my loved ones see me as a tween girl.

Wonder Woman Bottle Cap Earrings
When my friend who has known me since elementary school gave me these earring she said, “I don’t know where you’d wear them, but I thought of you when I saw them.” That’s crazy. Where wouldn’t I wear them?

Ha! I bought Ian the Star Wars pancake molds for Christmas! Great minds … 🙂
I have the Star Wars pancake molds also, have used them only once, and struggled, had a lot of sticking…any suggestions on getting great pancakes with these molds/no sticking?
Marcela, I sprayed them with a lot of canola oil, especially inside the eyes. I waited until all the bubbles popped and then I gently pushed the pancake down so it would come out of the molds. It was kind of a hassle, but it made the kids happy.
