Tiny Prints

I am quite possibly the worst person I know when it comes to remembering birthdays, sending out Christmas cards, or doing crafty projects.

For the last couple of years, I’ve taken pictures of the kids and then never made the Christmas card, or bought Mother’s Day and Father’s Day card and not mailed them. I made a baby book for one of my kids, but not the other. One is going to be very bitter, time will tell whether it’s the one with the baby book or the one without.

But this year, thanks to Tiny Prints, my mom will have a Mother’s Day card, before Mother’s Day no less, and it will be awesome. I wish I could say the same for my mother-in-law. I thought my husband was handling that (because she is, in fact, his mother), but he didn’t have “time” to get a card. Her birthday is coming up so I’m making her a Happy Birthday Grandma card with an adorable picture of her grandkids.

This is the cover of the Tiny Prints card I made my mom.

Awesome Tiny Prints card

On the inside of the card I wrote, “This is what I’m doing on Mother’s Day!” I’m pretty sure my mom will find this hilarious.

On the back I put a little picture of my two sons. Very cute.

The next thing I’m going to do is make a photo book for my younger son. I’ve been thinking about doing it for years, but didn’t because my older son’s book is homemade. Well, the only reason I made a homemade book was because I was on bed rest with son number 2. I don’t plan on having more kids so I need to get on that book.

There are a couple of great options for making the baby photo books. One is with a window in the front to put his baby picture. This will make it look just like (or I hope so) my other son’s baby book. I plan on leaving the first page blank so I can put his baby card, which was a card they gave me in the hospital with his hand prints, weight, and height.

Tiny Prints Party

Great conversation, amazing food, manicures, massage, and beautiful customized cards. Last Thursday night could not have been better.

I hosted a party for Tiny Prints through Clever Girls Collective and invited some of my favorite blogger friends including Romy of Romy Raves, Sarah Auerswald, Dariela of Mami Talks, Catalina Juarez who is Catalina In LA, Mary Kay of Daily Hot Guy, Laura Clark of LA Story, Diane of Dcoopsworld, and Shannon of The Woman Formerly Known as Beautiful (best blog name ever).

The night started with catered food from Clementine’s, one of my favorite spots in West LA. We had salmon tartare on brioche chips with crème fraiche, truffled mushrooms, a fabulous Spanish tapas plate, and decadent deviled eggs, to name a few things. I’m glad my diet started today instead of last week because everything was fantastic.

As we snacked, the ladies were treated to manicures with Emi from Unwind Mobile Spa, and chair massage with Lisa Robert from Urban Body Rescue. Lisa camped out in my sons’ room so the guests could enjoy a relaxing retreat. My kids were out for the evening thanks to a very generous friend of mine who babysat my 2 boys along her own 2 boys (she’s the one who really needed a relaxing massage!).

After everyone was relaxed, fed, and polished, I did a Tiny Prints power point presentation on my flat screen television, a first at Casa de Condes.

I showed my guests how they could create custom invitations and thank you cards, or make a fun card like this one pictured below that I made for my Mom.

My personalized Mother’s Day card that says “Happy Mother’s Day to the Classiest Woman I Know”

Everyone seemed to love the party and love Tiny Prints. What I love about Tiny Prints is that you can upload pictures, write a personal message, and then they mail it. My mom will actually get a card from me before Mother’s Day, not months later when I finally take a trip to see her.

You too can order a card from Tiny Prints and get it to your mom before Mother’s Day if you order it by Tuesday. For more information visit Tiny Prints or its Facebook Page.
