The Cry Canceler

The 6 months after my son was born were the hardest of my life. I had trouble nursing him and he didn’t love formula. He cried all the time. It was so hard emotionally for me. I wasn’t sleeping and I felt so guilty because my poor little guy was miserable.

What got me through that terrible time were my friends at Bourbon Street. I would take my son for a walk every afternoon and we would somehow end up there. Happy Hour was the best time because the music was loud and people couldn’t hear him crying. And after the second mojitto, I didn’t either! But once happy hour ended, the music would die down and there was no mistaking the wailing. I would slam my third drink and stumble home.

That’s what got me thinking. It’s so relaxing to have a couple of drinks with friends a few times a week. Why not take the baby along? There must be a way to muffle the sound, I thought. I put the rain guard over the stroller, but that didn’t work.

Then I heard about the Cry Canceler. I don’t understand all of the hoosey whatsits about how it works, but it creates an invisible shield around the baby (like Wonder Woman’s plane!). It makes it so much easier to have a bottle of wine with the girls (or guys!). You just flip a switch and it’s like the baby isn’t even there. Sweet! And the best part is that it’s only $99.

But because you are a loyal follower you might get one for free! Stay tuned. I’m giving away one of these bad boys on my blog in the next couple of days.
