Instead of staying up last night reading about all

Instead of staying up last night reading about all the f-d up things going on in the world, I listened to podcasts about all the f-d up things in the world while I made For Goodness Cakes 🎂 🧁s. It was my first attempt at cookies and cream and glad I researched what to do before I made it. I used boxed cake mix and subbed whipped egg whites for whole eggs to counter the denseness of the cookie crumbs and milk for water (I don’t remember why). For the strawberry frosting, I used cream cheese and whipping cream along with the butter, powdered sugar and dehydrated strawberries so the frosting wouldn’t be too sweet with the cookie crumbs. At first I thought this kid’s request for strawberry cake with Oreos cookies and cream and strawberry cream frosting was 🤮 but now I think she’s a culinary genius. It’s was so good I’m going to make it again but gluten free.
